The Neat Style For Tiles

The moment that the carpenter went to our house for renovating the sink, I went to Floor Tiles to check some tiles for the kitchen sink. I was thinking to buy a slab but when I checked the price, it was way too high. I opted to look at the tiles/granite on the display. These were the granite I was checking.

I was looking at this at first. It’s black which I really like but I don’t like the messy grand. I don’t know, it is just not neat for me. So I looked around and found this.

It still has some little grand but this is more neat than the other. Thus, I choose this. Now look!

I was looking for border too but the sales force said that it looks better without the border. Oh well, I was checking for this border.

I was about to pay for the border, good thing one of the sales force suggested that I don’t have to put borders since the tiles alone can already make an impression.

Thinking To Renovate The Kitchen

I and my niece were talking one day, I told her I was confused of what to do first, is it the living room door to be replaced or to repair the kitchen. And while looking at our kitchen, I realized it needs a modification very badly. I’m checking for some small kitchen styles and designs, I could not put an extension yet since the budget is limited. But checking of some designs alone online is not enough. I need to check in Home Depot to see some tile designs and colors. I don’t have time for now to go to some Home Depot maybe next week; I am also waiting for a carpenter to do the kitchen.

4 Ways to Be Bold About What You Want for Your Home Décor

In the case of professional home décor, some people feel nervous, and even meek, about hiring an interior designer. However, to achieve the look and ambience that you want in your house, you need to be bold and passionate about the ideas you have for your décor. Here are 4 ways to express yourself to an interior designer to ensure you get what you want.

Hire an Interior Designer with an Open Mind

Some of the most famed interior designers are notorious for being sticklers about their own design ideas. However, to implement your own creative flow, snag an interior design with an open mind and positive perspective. These attributes in someone else will allow you to express your design ideas with an open heart and a free flow of creative energy. You can collaborate instead of dictate or step aside.

Be Honest, Creative, and Passionate

When expressing your interior design and home décor ideas, do so with passion, conviction, creativity, and honesty. You are the one that has to live with your décor decisions, so be honest if you hate one pattern but love another. It’s your home, after all. You should have say in your interior design from the start.

Reference Samples or Examples Whenever Possible

Give your interior design some kind of example or sample whenever possible. They might need to see your ideas before they can turn them into realities. Or, if samples are unavailable, try to describe your design ideas in copious details to help your designer gain a mental picture. You should also brush up on design lingo to better express your thoughts with words that an interior decorator would understand instantly.

Don’t Be Afraid to Fire and Rehire

If your interior designer is less than what you expected, or if you simply don’t mesh well in terms of ideas and moods, don’t be afraid to hire someone else. It’s your prerogative. Sure, it’s tough to fire someone from a job that you planned. But, if you compensate them for their time, there’s no reason why you can’t let an incompatible interior designer go in favor of someone a little more compatible with your design tastes. Do your research for kitchen remodeling Cook County IL, or wherever you may be located, and go from there.

As you’ve seen, there are several ways to convey what you want, respectfully and politely, in terms of your home décor. Keep in mind that you should never feel bullied into making a décor decision. And you should always leave an interior design experience with positive reviews and a good feeling.

Stained Ceramic, No Worries

I have known some parents that have ceramics were stained; we know for sure that this dish is expensive when we bought so how do we give solution if it was stained. I just found this tip in Good Housekeeping February of this year edition. I am sure you will find this tip very helpful you can also spread this tip to your friends.

To get back the former shine of your ceramic dishes, use a baking soda. Mix baking soda to maybe a bowl of water or it depends how many baking soda you are using for your water just you see it forms a paste. Use the paste to scrub your items. Then soak the ceramic dish in vinegar and warm water then rinse or wash it with what you’re normally wash your dishes.

You can also try to mix a pinch of salt and vinegar, and then spread it in the ceramic. Leave the solution to the plate for few minutes or wait until it’s dry. And then wash the ceramic the usual that you are washing your dishes. For cutlery markings, scrub it with toothpaste, for hairline cracks, soak it with warm milk, and leave it for a night and wash.
